a) Describe in which ways in which your production work was informed by research into real media texts and how your ability to use such research for production developed over time.
In this section of my exam i will talk about my progression from AS & A2, in terms of my research into real media texts. In my first year of my course (AS) for our breif we had to make a two minuite opening sequence which included titles in my case i choose to do the Film Noir genre but we took a modern spin on it and did a neo-noir by incoporating aspects of todays modern society. In our second year (A2) our breif was to make a music video promo package which the main point was too make sure we lipsynced this was an important factor of our breif.
At AS i looked into several films for ideas for our film. we watched several films to see the conventions of Mise En scence for our film to make sure it was realisitc as possible when we did it ourselves, we noticed that colours such as red and black were heavily used, this can be said represent danger and corruption of what Noir is all about so this fits in really well. we hoped to include this in our final product as this allowed us too
